RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE BOARD OF
ADJUSTMENT OF THE CITY OF PARIS; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS
AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the term of office of Bill Davidson, as alternate member of the Board of
Adjustment of the City of Paris, expired on June 30, 2001; and,
WHEREAS, the terms of office of Edith Bills, Richard Nafe, Tammy Gantt, Toni Clem,
and W. M. Lightfoot, as members of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Paris, expired on
December 31, 2002; and,
WHEREAS, the term of office of Steve Glover, as alternate member of the Board of
Adjustment of the City of Paris, will expire on June 30, 2003; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the appointments
of, _, ., __., and __ for terms of two (2) years, beginning January 1,
2003, and ending December 31, 2004, and the appointments of__ and __., as alternate
members, for terms of two years, beginning July 1, 2003, and ending June 30, 2005; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all
things approved.
Section 2. That, , _, _, and __ be, and they are hereby,
appointed to serve as members of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Paris for terms of two
(2) years, beginning January 1, 2003, and ending December 31, 2004.
Section 3. That __ and __ be, and they are hereby, appointed to serve as alternate
members of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Paris for terms of two (2) years, beginning
July 1, 2003, and ending June 30, 2005.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
