Call meeting to order.
Budget Workshop Session:
A. Consider and discuss proposed 2003-2004 Budget and accompanying
Tax Rate for the City of Paris.
B. Receive input from interested citizens of Paris proposing services or
projects to be included in the 2003-2004 City of Paris Budget.
C. Consider, discuss, and take possible action on amendments to the
2003-2004 Budget.
D. Consider and discuss adding additional City Council Work Sessions
regarding the Budget and Tax Rate.
E. Record vote on proposal to consider tax increase for calendar year
2003 for the City of Paris.
Consideration of and possible action on the following resolutions:
A. Accepting and approving the Paris Visitors and Convention Council,
Chamber of Commerce of Lamar County, budget for the fiscal year
October 1, 2003 to September 30, 2004.

Accepting and approving the Paris Economic Development Corporation
budget for the fiscal year October 1, 2003 to September 30, 2004.
Setting the time and date for a public hearing on the proposed
amendments to the City of Paris proposed budget for fiscal year 2003-
2004.
Setting a public hearing on the proposed tax increase required to fund
and balance the proposed budget for fiscal year 2003-2004.
4. Receipt of report from the Planning & Zoning Commission.
Public Hearing to consider the petition of Ronald Kyle for a change in zoning
from a General Retail District (GR) to a General Retail District (GR) With
Specific Use Permit (52) Signs and Billboards on Lots lB and 1C, City Block
315, being number 3755 Loop 286 N.E.
Consideration of and action on an ordinance amending Zoning Ordinance No.
1710, changing the zoning from a General Retail District (GR) to a General
Retail District (GR) With Specific Use Permit (52) Signs and Billboards on Lots
lB and 1C, City Block 315, being number 3755 Loop 286 N.E.
Consideration of and action on the Final Plat of Paris Business Park, Phase
2.
8. Consideration of and action on the following ordinances:
Second reading of an ordinance granting to Dennis Nelms, dba City
Cab Company, a franchise to use the public streets, alleys, and
highways of the City of Paris for the purpose of transporting
passengers for hire in motor vehicles.
Second reading of an ordinance granting to Steve B. Raney and Wendy
L. Raney, dba Yellow Cab Company, a franchise to use the public
streets, alleys, and highways of the City of Paris for the purpose of
transporting passengers for hire in motor vehicles.
