• Report on meeting with Damon Wells on March 3, 2014.
5. Interim Executive Director's Report:
• Report of ACT Certified Work Ready Community Academy held in Ft.
Worth, February 19 -20, 2014.
6. Discuss and possibly take action on revised Tax Abatement policies by the Tax
Abatement Advisory Committee and adopted by the Paris City Council, Lamar
County Commissioners and Paris Jr. College Board of Regents.
7. Report from ad hoc committee on PEDC organizational structure. – David Turner
8. Discuss and possibly take action on the PEDC Plan of Work for FY 2013 -14.
9. Discuss and possibly take action on Texas Economic Development Council's 2014
Conference Topics to be attended by the Interim Executive Director.
10. Convene into Executive Session:
1. Pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code when the
governmental body seeks the advice of its attorney about: 1) Pending or
contemplated litigation; or 2) a settlement offer; or 3) on a matter in which the
duty of the attorney to the governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary
Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with
this chapter.

3. Pursuant to Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code to discuss or
deliberate: 1) commercial or financial information that the governmental body
has received from a business prospect that the governmental body seeks to have
locate, stay or expand in or near the territory of the governmental body and
with which the governmental body is conducting economic development
negotiations; or 2) to deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentive to a
business prospect.
11. Reconvene into Open Session and possibly take action on item(s) discussed in
Executive Session.
12. Discuss and possibly take action regarding quotes to extend the water line in the
Northwest Industrial Park to west side of 34th Street NW.
13. Adjourn.
