• Report on Business and Industry Roundtable meeting sponsored by the Lamar
County Coalition of Education, Business & Industry, held on Friday, April
11, 2014.
• Report on Industrial Manager's Quarterly Meeting held Thursday, April 17,
2014.
• Status of tree trimming, limb removal, etc. at the Northwest Industrial Park
and 19th Street NW properties.
6. Report from ad hoc committee on Executive Director's job description,
organizational structure, etc. – David Turner /Stephen Grubbs
7. Discuss and possibly take action on Workers' Compensation quotes for PEDC Staff.
8. Discuss and possibly take action on participating in the upcoming FABTECH trade
show in Atlanta, Georgia on November 11 -13, 2014 in a booth with Oncor and
others from the region.
9. Receive and discuss proposed PEDC Budget Amendments for FY 2013 -14 and
Proposed PEDC Budget for FY 2014 -15.

10. Convene into Executive Session:
1. Pursuant to Section 551.072 of the Texas Government Code to discuss and
deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property.
2. Pursuant to Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code to discuss or
deliberate: 1) commercial or financial information that the governmental body
has received from a business prospect that the governmental body seeks to have
locate, stay or expand in or near the territory of the governmental body and
with which the governmental body is conducting economic development
negotiations; or 2) to deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentive to a
business prospect.
11. Reconvene into Open Session and possibly take action on item(s) discussed in
Executive Session.
