REGULAR MEETING
CITY OF PARIS HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION
WEDNESDAY APRIL 9.2014
12:00 O'CLOCK P.M.
1. The meeting of the Historic Preservation Commission was called to order at 12:08 p.m. by
Chair Ben Vaughan.
A. The following commissioners were present: Chair Ben Vaughan, Nancy
Anderson, Michael Glatfelter, and Beatrice Ardila
B. Vice Chair Douglas Cox, Lauri Redus and David Stewart were absent.
C. Staff also present: Joey Sleeper, Historic Preservation Officer; Triniti Frazier,
Permit Clerk
2. Approval of minutes from previous meeting. (March 12, 2014)
Motion was made by Commissioner Anderson and seconded by Commissioner Glatfelter to
approve the minutes as written. The motion carried 4 -0.
3. Discuss establishing a committee to set guidelines for approval of murals.
The Commission discussed and decided to invite Barbara Wilson, Arvin Starrett, Josiah
Daniel, Alshlea Mattoon, and Mary West to serve as volunteer committee members. Mr.
Sleeper said he would send invitation letters to each one for consideration at a future
meeting. No action was taken.
4. Future Agenda Item
No items were discussed
5. Adjournment
With no other matters to discuss, a motion to adjourn" was made by Commissioner
Anderson and seconded by Commissioner Glatfelter. The motion carried 4 -0.
Meeting adjourned at 12:50 p.m.
