ORDINANCE NO. 2014 -011
<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS,
<br />APPROVING A SITE PLAN FOR A MEDICAL FACILITY IN A PLANNED
<br />DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT ESTABLISHED ON LOT 3 AND PART OF LOT 2,
<br />BLOCK 7, SPRING LAKE ADDITION, BEING LOCATED IN THE 300 BLOCK
<br />OF NORTH COLLEGIATE DRIVE, PARIS, TEXAS; MAKING OTHER
<br />FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; PROVIDING A
<br />REPEALER CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, A SAVINGS CLAUSE, A
<br />PENALTY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission received an application to amend
<br />City Zoning Ordinance No. 1710, as heretofore amended, to approve a site plan for Lot 3
<br />and part of Lot 2, Block 7, Spring Lake Addition, being located in the 300 block of North
<br />Collegiate Drive, Paris, Lamar County, Texas; and,
<br />WHEREAS, on May 5, 2014 the Planning and Zoning Commission held a public
<br />hearing to consider and act on the proposed site plan for Lot 3 and part of Lot 2, Block 7,
<br />Spring Lake Addition, Paris, Lamar County, Texas; and,
<br />WHEREAS, following the public hearing, discussion and deliberations, the Planning
<br />and Zoning Commission voted 7 -0 to approve the site plan, subject to the City Engineer's
<br />recommendations; and,
<br />WHEREAS, on May 12, 2014, the City Council of the City of Paris held a public
<br />hearing to receive input from the citizens of the City of Paris regarding the site plan for Lot
<br />3 and part of Lot 2, Block 7, Spring Lake Addition located in the 300 Block of North
<br />Collegiate Drive, Paris, Lamar County, Texas; and,
<br />WHEREAS, following the public hearing, consideration of the recommendation of
<br />the Planning and Zoning Commission and other discussion related to the proposed site
<br />plan for the 300 Block of North Collegiate Drive attached hereto as Exhibit "A ", the City
<br />Council voted 7 Ayes 0 Nays to approve the site plan for the property.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />PARIS, TEXAS:
<br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this ordinance are hereby
<br />in all things approved.
<br />Section 2. That the Site Plan, for Lot 3 and Part of Lot 2, City Block 7, Spring Lake
<br />Addition, being located in the 300 Block of North Collegiate Drive, including a Lighting Plan,
<br />Elevations, and a Landscape Plan, attached hereto as Exhibit "A ", be and the same is hereby,
<br />approved.
<br />Section 3. That all provisions of the ordinances of the City of Paris, Texas in
<br />conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed, and all other provisions
<br />of the ordinances of the City of Paris not in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance
