RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE PARIS-LAMAR
COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND
PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the terms of office of Vicki Bonham, Dr. Robert Moseley, Mrs. Robert
Norment, Byron Muse, Dr. Caroline Wilson, Dr. Ed Clark, and Dr. Gordon B. Strom, Jr., as
members, and Dr. Wallace E. Kraft, as an ex-officio member, of the Paris-Lamar County Board
of Health, have expired; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, with the advice of the County Judge of
Lamar County, Texas, does hereby recommend the reappointments ofVicki Bonham, Dr. Robert
Moseley, Dr. Caroline Wilson, and Dr. Gordon B. Strom, Jr., as members, and Dr. Wallace E.
Kraft, as an ex-officio member, and the appointments of Dr. David Carpenter, Rae Jackson, and
as members, for terms ending December 31, 2004, or until such time as their
successors shall be appointed, whichever is greater; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS, AND THE COMMISSIONERS COURT OF THE COUNTY OF LAMAR:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all
things approved.
Section 2. That Vicki Bonham, Dr. Robert Moseley, Dr. Caroline Wilson, and Dr.
Gordon B. Strom, Jr. be, and they are hereby, reappointed as members, that Dr. Wallace E. Kraft
be, and he is hereby, reappointed as an ex-officio member, and that Dr. David Carpenter, Rae
Jackson, and be, and they are hereby, appointed as members of the Paris-
Lamar County Board of Health for terms ending December 31, 2004, until such time as their
successors shall be appointed, whichever is greater.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
