RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, REAPPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE TRAFFIC
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARIS, MAKING OTHER FINDINGS
AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the term of office of Edward D. Ellis, as a member of the Traffic Commission
of the City of Paris, expired on December 31, 2003; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the reappointment of
Edward D. Ellis for a term of three (3) years, beginning January 1, 2004, and ending December 31,
2006; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS.
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things
approved.
Section 2. That Edward D. Ellis be, and he is hereby, reappointed to serve as a member of
the Traffic Commission of the City of Paris for a term of three (3) years, beginning January 1, 2004,
and ending December 31, 2006.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
