The Commission voted unanimously to designate these structures for demolilion.

tom Slx: Discussion of pnblic relations and education program regarding Ibc
Dc. vv'nto'.3,rn l listoric District. It was deckted to send information lo tenants using ISnscy
}tarper's I,ist of tenants.
ltc~n Seven: The presentution of thc amended boundaries and setting a date for public
hearing of thc proposed Church Street and South Main Street l listoric District was lcd by
Barbara Wilson. Becky Nonnent brought the Commission's attention lo lhe I SI' Strcet
ama. It was decided that this was also an important part of this area and should be
included in thc District. Barbara Wilson recommended that the Historical Industrial Area
to thc South should bc designated a separate historic area and that the Church, S. Main.
and I ST Street area should be end,}ust North of the Depot. The City l!nginccr and
Tommy I lathes brought the Commissions attention to thc fact that this u, ould take extra
time to compile owner lists and that this would need to be taken into considcrmion with
regard to setting the time lbr planning thc public hearing. Ibis will be addressed at the
November ~nccting.
Item F~ight: Discussion of and possible action on new stand-along recommendations.
l'bc Baldwin l louse circa 1892.714 Graham, was recommended for a I listoric Stand
Alone designation. Barbara Wilson recommended tha! ltistoric Stand Alone designation
bc extended to The Evergreen Cemetery. Both recommendations wcrc passed by thc
('ommission nnanimously.

Requcst to restore building - no action taken, tabled

Billy Brown - 221 Bonham Sm:ct - Eight Engineer reported Iha£
owner was instructed to stop installation of fence because it was in
violation of the l listoric District regulations. He declined to
comply. Commission denied his late petition and referred possible
action to tile City Attorney.

store presented plans and drawings for the new building.
Annand Frank discussed with thc Commission tile design oflhe building.
