RESOLUTION NO. _______________
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE PARIS-LAMAR
COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND
PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS,
the term of office of Byron Muse, as a member of the Paris-Lamar County
Board of Health, has expired; and,
WHEREAS,
the Mayor of the City of Paris, with the advice of the County Judge of
Lamar County, Texas, does hereby recommend the appointment Larry Reaves for a term ending
December 31, 2004, or until such time as his successor shall be appointed, whichever is greater;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS, AND THE COMMISSIONERS COURT OF THE COUNTY OF LAMAR:
Section 1.
That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all
things approved.
Section 2.
That Larry Reaves be, and he is hereby, appointed as a member of the Paris-
Lamar County Board of Health for a term ending December 31, 2004, until such time as his
successor shall be appointed, whichever is greater.
Section 3.
That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
