Call meeting to order— Stephen Grubbs, Chair
2. Discuss current and new PEDC Board members' status of the required Texas Open
Meetings Act training and certificate.
3. Convene into Executive Session:
a) Pursuant to Section 551.072 of the Texas Government Code to discuss and
deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property.
b) Pursuant to Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code to discuss or
deliberate: 1) commercial or financial information that the governmental body
has received from a business prospect that the governmental body seeks to have
locate, stay or expand in or near the territory of the governmental body and
with which the governmental body is conducting economic development
negotiations; or 2) to deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentive to a
business prospect.
4. Reconvene into Open Session and possibly take action on item(s) discussed in
Executive Session.
5. Report on Tax Abatement Compliance – Rebecca Clifford
6. Discuss and possibly take action on the Executive Director short-list of candidates
provided by the Paris EDC Board members to proceed with telephone interviews, in-
person interviews, etc. - David Turner /Stephen Grubbs
7. Discuss and possibly take action on a date and time for a joint public meeting with the
Paris City Council and citizens pertaining to the Defenbaugh & Associates
investigation.

8. Discuss and possibly take action on the release of payment in the amount of
$6,882.50 to Defenbaugh & Associates for the incomplete documentation of the
FINAL Reports received by the PEDC on August 11, 2014.
