5. Discuss and possibly take action on addition to the PEDC policy manual of non -
solicitation clause for PEDC personnel – Rebecca Clifford
6. Discuss and possibly take action on invoice(s) for legal services from Jeff Moore,
Attorney, Brown & Hofineister, LLP
7. Discuss and possibly take action on Defenbaugh & Associates invoice for June,
2014 in the amount of $6,882.50.
8. Discuss and possibly take action on auto -draft payment for monthly vision plan
premiums through ACCE Benefits Trust.
9. Discuss and possibly take action on Interim Executive Director attending the PACE
(Property Assessed Clean Energy) Workshop sponsored by SPEER (South - Central
Partnership for Energy Efficiency as a Resource) in Austin, Tuesday, September 23
from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
10. Discuss and possibly take action on proposed Budget Amendments for FY 2013 -14.
11. Discuss and possibly take action on Paris EDC Board member(s) and Interim
Executive Director's attendance at the upcoming Sales Tax Workshop and
conferences.

12. Convene into Executive Session:
a) Pursuant to Section 551.072 of the Texas Government Code to discuss and
deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property.
b) Pursuant to Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code: 1) to deliberate
the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or
dismissal of a public officer or employee; or 2) to hear a complaint to charge
against an officer or employee. Deliberate applicants to fill Executive Director
position along with duties and status of the Administrative Assistant position.
c) Pursuant to Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code to discuss or
deliberate: 1) commercial or financial information that the governmental body
has received from a business prospect that the governmental body seeks to have
locate, stay or expand in or near the territory of the governmental body and
with which the governmental body is conducting economic development
negotiations; or 2) to deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentive to a
business prospect.
13. Reconvene into Open Session and possibly take action on item(s) discussed in
Executive Session.
