5:30 O'CLOCK P.M.
The meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, December 1, 2014, was
called to order at 5:33 p. m. by Holland Harper, Chairman.
A. The following members were present: Holland Harper, Jerry Akers, John Lee,
Mike Folmar and James Price
B. The following members were absent: Barney Bray and Billy Trenado
C. Also present were Shawn Napier, Director of Engineering, Planning and
Development; Alan Efrussy, Planning Manager; and Ashley Fendley, Secretary for
the Planning and Zoning Commission.
2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (November 3, 2014)
Motion was made by James Price, seconded by John Lee to approve minutes for the
November 3, 2014 meeting. Motion carried 5 -0.
3. Public hearing and consideration of and action on the petition of Steve Matney for a
change in zoning from a Single Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3) to a Commercial
District (C) on Lots I through 4, Block A, of the East Park Addition, being located in the
900 Block of Clement.
Public hearing was declared open.
A. One individual spoke in favor of the petition.
Dane Johnson, 1675 Sugar Hill Road Reno, Texas, spoke in favor of the petition.
Mr. Johnson stated he was seeking approval on the zoning change to establish a
wholesale supply company.
B. No one spoke in opposition.
Public hearing was declared closed.
Motion was made by John Lee, seconded by Mike Folmar to approve the petition. Motion
carried 5 -0.
Meeting adjourned at 5:38 p.m.
