Role taken. Quorum established. 3. Citizens Forum: none 4. Approval of minutes of November 19, 2013. Motion to approve by Jerry Coyle and second by Nancy Waldrum. Motion carried. 5. Coordinator report: A. BIG: Scott McDowell complete the restoration of the windows on his building — photos included in packet for our inspection. A check in the amount of $3500 will be written to him and we need to set a time to present an "oversized" check to him and get some PR for Main Street. We need to get a receipt for the PCT sign at the Brown Center and present a check to them as well. B. Design renderings: three renderings were recently completed 1. The parking lot behind the building the Melissa Wickersham purchased (used to be YWCA and PAL Bldg), 2. 24/26 Clarksville and 3. The Gordon's bldg. on Bonham St. Cheri will email those to the group. C. Training dates: State coordinator is available Feb 19 — not good for Jill Drake or Jerry Coyle. Cheri will ask her for more potential dates and send them via email. D. Grand Theatre: the roof work is completed and now the facade is being worked on above the marquee. Will re- establish the 1937 look. Hopefully this restoration will spark an interest in renovating the entire building. E. Wassail Fest: 75 completed ballots were rec'd and 21 door prizes were distributed. First place: Green Boutique, Second place: 107, Third: Paris Bakery, Fourth: Itsy Bitsy Spider. The merchants were pleased with the turnout despite the cold weather. Also, the Santa Paws for a Cause Dog Parade raised approx. $1400 to be split between the Salvation Army and the Lamar County Humane Association. 6. Committee Reports A. Organization- no meeting in December B. Design — no meeting in December C. Promotions - Karie Raulston reported the c'tee met with Paris Downtown Assoc. this month and worked on plans for Wassail Fest, Paws for a Cause and Valentine's Day. She reported that the Paws for a Cause parade was led by a fire truck and the group went almost a mile. There were prizes for the best talent, best dressed dog, best matched owner and dog with prizes donated by Petco. Schlotzsky'sprovided Cinnabon rolls and That Guys Coffee rovr&coffee for sale. Lifestyles Photography took photos of owners, dogs and Santa. The Pevent was a success! D. ER — no meeting in December E. HPC — Beatrice Ardila reported that Melissa Wickersham's proposal to move Creative Candy to Lamar Ave was approved. The c'tee is researching a new ordinance for signage downtown — will meet Dec 18 to review /discuss. F. Chamber report — none - $10,000 Giveaway is tonight at 7pm! 7. Time change for Board Meeting- tabled until all members are present to provide input 8. Future agenda item: Discussion re Bathrooms as part of the new park at the church. 9.
