Approval of minutes. No minutes available, will be available at January meeting.
Managers' Report, Matt Coyle for Cheri Bedford
o Brownfield Grant submitted Tuesday, December 5, 2012. Should hear back in April
2013
o Grand Theatre tours conducted: December 8th 2012. 62 attended- Paul Denney and
Jill Drake helped with tours. $42 in donations collected.
o Structural Assessment of Grand Theatre complete- with the help of Paul Denney.
Roof, sidewalls assessed. Roof replacement coming.
o Dog Dash December 8, 2012 -10:00 a.m.: 73 entries $1700 will be donated to
Salvation Army and Lamar County Humane Association - divided $850 each.
o Wassail fest December 8th ; Gift Basket- Lauren Richardson
■ Wassail Miester -Paris Texas Pecan Company, Britin Bostick- Trophy
presented.
o Visual Merchandising; January 14th Design Committee will report more.
Committee reports:
Organization: Casey Ressler, met with Cheri about Downtown Paris Texas videos, and will discuss
future of videos, planning meeting in January.
Promotions: No report- Britin out of pocket
Design: Karie Raulston, Visual Merchandising January 14, 2013 6:00 p.m. storefronts, interior,
exterior- Triniti Frazier has sent out invites- Community Room at 1125 Bonham Street. Ashlea
offered to help. Food and drink provided by design.
Economic Restructuring- No Report- Fred out of town
HPC- No Report -Britin out of pocket
Chamber /VCC- No Report- same night as $10K drawing downtown.
Matt gave update- 107 Grand possibility of public restrooms? Will get update from Parks
department.
Future Agenda Items: Downtown Restrooms, Skate Park Removal, Parks Report
