SUBJECT: Paris Main Street Progress Report

BACKGROUND: Paris Main Street is dedicated to the revitalization of downtown Paris. We
have had a very successful 2014, and want to share them with the City Council.
STATUS OF ISSUE: Cheri Bedford, Main Street Coordinator and Paris Main Street Advisory
Board Chair, Jill Drake, would like share with City Council the accomplishments of 2013/2014
at the February 23, 2015 meeting. Main Street program has had a very successful year program
with lots of community involvement. We want to share information such as investments in the
downtown, downtown partners, events and sponsors, volunteer hours, grants given by BIG,
design reviews from THC, up and coming improvements by private investors.
