The meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, January 5, 2015, was
called to order at 5:3Op. m. by Holland Harper, Chairman.
A. The following members were present: Holland Harper, Jerry Akers, John Lee,
Barney Bray and James Price
B. The following members were absent: Mike Folmar and Billy Trenado
C. Also present were Shawn Napier, Director of Engineering, Planning and
Development; Alan Efrussy, Planning Manager; and Ashley Fendley, Secretary for
the Planning and Zoning Commission.
2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (December 1, 2014)
Motion was made by Jerry Akers, seconded by John Lee to approve minutes for the
December 1, 2014 meeting. Motion carried 4 -0.
3. Consideration of and action on the Preliminary Plat of Lot 1, Block A, Paris Church of
Christ Addition 296, located at 3175 Lamar Avenue.
Shawn Napier reviewed the preliminary plat with commissioners. Motion was made by
John Lee, seconded by Jerry Akers to approve the preliminary plat, subject to the City
Engineer's recommendations. Motion carried 4 -0.
4. Consideration of and action on the Final Plat of Lot 1, Block A, Paris Church of Christ
Addition 296, located at 3175 Lamar Avenue.
Shawn Napier reviewed the final plat with commissioners. Motion was made by John Lee,
seconded by Barney Bray to approve the final plat, subject to the City Engineer's
recommendations. Motion carried 4 -0.
5. Consideration of and action on the Preliminary Plat of Lot 1, Block A, Paris Habitat
Hearon Addition 142, located at 343 E. Hearon Street.
Shawn Napier reviewed the preliminary plat with commissioners. Motion was made by
Jerry Akers, seconded by John Lee to approve the preliminary plat, subject to the City
Engineer's recommendations. Motion carried 4 -0.
James Price arrived at 5:35 p.m.
6 Consideration of and action on the Final Plat of Lot 1, Block A, Paris Habitat Hearon
Addition 142, located at 343 E. Hearon Street.
Shawn Napier reviewed the final plat with commissioners. Motion was made by John Lee,
seconded by Barney Bray to approve the final plat, subject to the City Engineer's
recommendations and installing curb and gutter to 411 E. Hearon Street. Motion carried
5 -0.
7. Consideration of and action on the Master Plat of Lot 1, Block A, Campbell Soup Supply
Company LLC, Located at 500 N. W. Loop 286
Shawn Napier reviewed the master plat with commissioners. Motion was made by John
Lee, seconded by Barney Bray to approve the master plat, subject to the City Engineer's
recommendations. Motion carried 5 -0.
8. Consideration of and action on the Preliminary Plat of Lot 1, Block A, Campbell Soup
Supply Company LLC, Located at 500 N. W. Loop 286
Shawn Napier reviewed the preliminary plat with commissioners. Motion was made by
Barney Bray, seconded by James Price to approve the preliminary plat, subject to the City
Engineer's recommendations. Motion carried 5 -0.
9. Consideration of and action on the Final Plat of Lot 1, Block A, Campbell Soup Supply
Company LLC, Located at 500 N. W. Loop 286
Shawn Napier reviewed the final plat with commissioners. Motion was made by John Lee,
seconded by Barney Bray to approve the final plat, subject to the City Engineer's
recommendations. Motion carried 5 -0.
