2. Citizens' Input
(Persons desiring to address the Paris EDC Board must limit their presentation to no more than
two minutes. Unless an item is posted on the Agenda, the Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits the
Board from responding to any comments other than to refer the matter to a future agenda, to an
existing policy, or to a staff person with specific factual information. Claims against the Paris
EDC, Board Members or employees are not appropriate for citizens' input.)
3. Discuss and possibly take action on Citizens' Input item(s), above, for future
meeting Agenda.
4. Approval of amended minutes from the February 18, 2015 called meeting and
March 10, 2015 regular meeting
5. Approval of [February 2015 and March 2015] financials
6. Interim Executive Director's Report:
• Status of the Texas Workforce Commission High Demand Job Training
Program through Workforce Solutions of Northeast Texas grant application.
• Status of WorkKeyso assessment for Certified Work Ready Communities
Initiative.
• Report on Lamar County Days in Austin, April 7, 8 & 9, 2015.
• Industrial Managers Quarterly meeting is Thursday, April 23, 2015.
• Status of 2014 Tax Abatement and Incentive Agreement Compliance.
7. Discuss and possibly take action on transferring excess reserves from the I & S
Fund (Debt Service) to the PEDC operating account in the amount of $100,000.
8. Discuss and possibly take action on proposed website changes by James Wallace of
Jazzy Frog Interactive.

9. Discuss and possibly take action on invoice(s) for legal services from Jeff Moore,
Attorney, Brown & Hofineister, LLP and/or A.W. Clem, Legal Counsel, The Moore
Law Firm.
10. Convene into Executive Session:
a) Pursuant to Section 551.072 of the Texas Government Code to discuss and
deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property.
b) Pursuant to Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code to discuss or
deliberate: 1) commercial or financial information that the governmental body
has received from a business prospect that the governmental body seeks to have
locate, stay or expand in or near the territory of the governmental body and
with which the governmental body is conducting economic development
negotiations; or 2) to deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentive to a
business prospect.
11. Reconvene into Open Session and possibly take action on item(s) discussed in
Executive Session.
12. Adjourn.
