2. Citizens' Input

Board from responding to any comments other than to refer the matter to a future agenda, to an
existing policy, or to a staff person with specific factual information. Claims against the Paris
EDC, Board Members or employees are not appropriate for citizens' input.)
3. Discuss and possibly take action on Citizens' Input item(s), above, for future
meeting Agenda.
4. Approval of minutes from the April 21, 2015 re- scheduled monthly meeting
5. Approval of [March 2015 and April 2015] financials
6. Interim Executive Director's Report:
• Status of the Texas Workforce Commission High Demand Job Training
Program through Workforce Solutions of Northeast Texas grant application.
• Status of WorkKeys0 assessment for Certified Work Ready Communities
Initiative.
• Status of 2014 Tax Abatement and Incentive Agreement Compliance.
7. Discuss and possibly take action on options to either build or buy a spec building
site.
8. Discuss and possibly take action on methodology confirming number of jobs
created and /or retained for current and future incentive agreements.
9. Discuss and possibly take action on proposed amendment(s) to the Paris EDC
Bylaws pertaining to authorization process of entering into a contract agreement.
10. Discuss and possibly take action on invoice(s) for legal services from Jeff Moore,
Attorney, Brown & Hofineister, LLP and /or A.W. Clem, Legal Counsel, The Moore
Law Firm.

11. Discuss and possibly take action to reinitiate the search for an Executive Director,
the job listing sites and /or consider hiring a search firm.
12. Discuss and possibly take action on amending the PEDC Budget for FY 2014 -15.
13. Discuss and possibly take action on setting a date and time for a Budget Workshop
for FY 2015 -16.
14. Convene into Executive Session:
a) Pursuant to Section 551.072 of the Texas Government Code to discuss and
deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property.
b) Pursuant to Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code: 1) to deliberate
the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or
dismissal of a public officer or employee; or 2) to hear a complaint to charge
against an officer or employee. Deliberate duties of Interim Executive Director.
c) Pursuant to Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code to discuss or
deliberate: 1) commercial or financial information that the governmental body
has received from a business prospect that the governmental body seeks to have
locate, stay or expand in or near the territory of the governmental body and
with which the governmental body is conducting economic development
negotiations; or 2) to deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentive to a
business prospect.
15. Reconvene into Open Session and possibly take action on item(s) discussed in
Executive Session.
