1. Call meeting to order by Chairman, Jill Drake at 4:20 pm
2. Role taken ny Cheri Bedford. Quorum established.
3. Approval of minutes of March10, 2015 Motion was made Missy Starnes seconded by
Nancy Waldrum motion carried.
4. Coordinator report: Cheri Bedford:
a. Farmers Market Planning Committee met. Scheduling a grand opening Friday night, May 1
from 5 -7 pm - -Plan to have music. Opening day there will be Master Gardener plant sale.
The same day will be the Pedal On Slow Roll for a five mile trail.
b. Volunteer Photo Shoot Saturday, April 18th at 11:30 am at Bywater Park -Part of
National Volunteer Week.
c. Sidewalk Project - -about completed and trees will be planted in planters soon.
d. Photo Op available in the burnout
e. Design request for building have been coming in.
5. Committee Reports:
a. Organization Jill Drake -- Hoping for a good turnout to honor volunteers at Photo shoot.
Encouraged to work on our Work Plan.
b. Design -- Nancy Waldrum- no report
c. Promotions - -Missy Starnes -- Reported the results of the Wine Fest voting:
Food Vendor -Red Bear
Winery - Landon
Retail- Olive Paris
Movies in The Park is next big promotion.
d. Economic Restructure- Jerry Coyle - -no report.
e. HPC-- Beatrice Ardila not present -- Raging Cajon opening in old Tropic Cafe site
Bonham Street. COA for TV 99 Studio and The Loft @123.
f. Chamber -Becky Semple -Lamar County Days at the Capital. Chisum Days coming up,
Uncle Jesse Day is May 2nd and Art Fair is May 9th
6. Main Street Work Plan for 2015/2016
Discussed ways to improve Wine Fest 2016 -- more tickets, more people to help sign in,
Fire 2016 Celebration meeting is Thursday at noon - Train Station Community Room
