1. Call meeting to order Jill Drake 4:22 pm
2. Role taken. Quorum established.
3. Citizens Forum: none noted.
4. Approval of minutes of February 17, 2015 Motion was made Missy Starnes seconded by
Karl Raulston motion carried.
5. Coordinator report: Cheri Bedford:
a. Presentation of Main Street Report for 2014 given last night to Paris City Council went
very well.
b. Sidewalk Project - -about completed. City will install irrigation and then trees will be
planted in planters. They are waiting for dry weather.
c. Wine Fest Tickets are on sale - -of 350 only 125 left. Good response to on line sales.
d. Preservation Month- May plans are under way.
e. Farmers Market -- four local farmers went to Dallas Farmers Market to sign up for the
SNAP program. Three made commitments to the program they received Ipads, readers,
and printers, plus a low credit card rate. They will be bringing their product to the Market
when it opens in May. Plans are to change the Market to have produced plus artisan items.
f. Wine Fest - Tickets are on sale on line -about 125 left.
g. Centennial Meeting March 3- account 30 people met with many suggestions for fund
raising ideas. Next lunch meeting is April 16th at noon.
6. Committee Reports:
a. Organization: did not meet.
b. Promotions: Planning a Volunteer Appreciation Day with T- Shirts. Possible Sky track lift
photo volunteers in huge mass photo.
c. ER: No report.
d. Design: No Report
e. HPC: Meeting to revise some of the ordinance concerning historical buildings.
f. Chamber: April 7 -9, 2015- is Lamar County Days in Austin at Capital - Chamber will be
cooking Hamburgers, etc. Archery Tournaments April 23 -26.
7. Future agenda items: Discuss I T Person
Motion to adjourn 5.00 pm., made by Glee Emmite, Second by Kati Raulston. Motion carried.
