AGENDA
1. Call meeting to order — Stephen Grubbs, Chair
2. Citizens' Input
(Persons desiring to address the Paris EDC Board must limit their presentation to no more than two
minutes. Unless an item is posted on the Agenda, the Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits the Board
from responding to any comments other than to refer the matter to a future agenda, to an existing policy,
or to a staff person with specific factual information. Claims against the Paris EDC, Board Members or
employees are not appropriate for citizens' input.)
3. Discuss and possibly take action on the letter dated April 21, 2015 to the PEDC Board from Ricky
Hayes concerning the Defenbaugh Report.
4. Convene into Executive Session:
a) Pursuant to Section 551.074 of the Texas Governmental Code: 1) to deliberate the appointment,
employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of a public officer or
employee; or 2) to hear a complaint to charge against an officer or employee. Interim Executive
Director's resignation and future duties of staff going forward.
5. Reconvene into Open Session and possibly take action on item(s) discussed in Executive Session.
6. Adjourn
