Paris Public Library Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />May 20, 2015 <br />Opening: <br />The regular meeting of the Paris Public Library Advisory Board was called to order at 4:05 p.m. <br />Present: <br />Board members present were Fran Neely, Rebecca Umphrey, Carol James, Ann Norment, Mike <br />Pendleton, Friends of the Library president Amanda Green, and director Priscilla McAnally. <br />Absent were Denise Kornegay and Connie Dodd. <br />I. Approval of Minutes: <br />The minutes of the previous meeting were unanimously approved as corrected (date). <br />II. New Business: <br />Cleonne Drake and Daisy Harville are the only two applicants for the board <br />vacancy opening in July. <br />III. Old Business: <br />None <br />IV. Presentations: <br />A. Budget Report — Approximately 58% of the year's budget has been expended at <br />this time which is on track for the year. <br />B. Statistical Report — There was a circulation increase of 3.04% over April, 2014; <br />while library visits decreased 6.69% during the same period. <br />V. Friends of the Library: The additional copies of Little Women purchased by the <br />Friends for the "One City, One Book" event have arrived and been added to the <br />catalog. <br />VI.
