1. Call meeting to order Jill Drake 4:26 pm
2. Role taken. Quorum established.
3. Citizens Forum: none noted.
4. Approval of minutes of May 12, 2015 Motion was made Missy Starnes seconded by Nancy
Waldrum. Motion carried.
5. Coordinator report: Cheri Bedford:
a. Executive Director of Texas Downtown Association, Catherine Sak has been invited to
come to help us with on our Work Plan. August will be our Planning Meeting
b. Grand Theater -- Environmental Engineer is required to oversee the cleanup of the
Theater -- It is estimated it will cost around $223,000. It is a city property.
c. Received a Thank You note from Loft at 123 for the Big Grant
d. Farmers Market -- great turn out - -all tables full- good variety.
e. Texas Treasure Award for 50 year plus Businesses. Jill Drake to take Swaim Hardware &
Henry's Printing, Williams Sporting and Collegiate- Glee, HWH has been notified, Insurance
Companies: Pierson and Findley, Norment and Landers - Nancy, Spanglers- Missy. These are
due by end of the month.
Committee Reports:
a. Organization - Centennial Meeting Thursday, June 11 at noon.
b. Promotions- Movies in the Park -- Starts this Thursday - -Bring Insert Repellent
c. ER- no report
d.HPC -no report
e. Chamber -Paris Power Boat Grand Prix coming - -3 yr contract -- August 22 - -Lake Crook
Friday, Sat, & Sun.
Tour de Paris Bike Race coming up - -a Slow Roll is planned for Friday nite before.
Highway 82 Sale last weekend for the 8th year was a huge success.
