SUBJECT: OPERATIONS PLAN UPDATE/PUBLIC WORKS

BACKGROUND: As part of our annual budgeting /planning process, we try to have each major
department present its needs, priorities, and plans to the council to help look at the budget with a
longer, broader view. Public Works Director Jerry McDaniel will make a presentation at the
July 27 council meeting.
STATUS OF ISSUE: Significant issues include:
• Trail de Paris rehabilitation;
• Road equipment;
• Recycling program;
• Parks plan;
• Drainage projects /plan; and
• Tennis court repairs /maintenance.
BUDGET: NA
RECOMMENDATION: Discussion only.
