SUBJECT: APPOINTMENTS TO THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION
DATE: August 4, 2015
BACKGROUND: Policies and Procedures for Boards, Commissions, and Committees adopted
by City Council allow for the appointment of a board member when a vacancy occurs.
STATUS OF ISSUE: There are currently two vacancies on the Historic Preservation
Commission and city staff has received three applications. Applicants are Chris Dux
(7/16/2015); Anne Biard (7/28/2015); and Michael King (7/31/2015).
BUDGET: N/A
RECOMMENDATION: Appoint two members to fill the two vacant positions on HPC.
