Meeting Minutes
July 15, 2015
Opening:
The regular meeting of the Paris Public Library Advisory Board was called to order at 4:03 p.m.
Present:
Board members present were Fran Neely, Connie Dodd, Denise Kornegay, Rebecca Umphrey,
Carol James, Daisy Harvill and director Priscilla McAnally. Absent was Mike Pendleton.
I. Approval of Minutes:
The minutes of the previous meeting were unanimously approved.
II. New Business:
A. New board member Daisy Harvill was introduced
B. Officers elected were Fran Neeley — Chair; Connie Dodd — Vice Chair, and
Denise Kornegay — Secretary
III. Old Business:
None
IV. Presentations:
A. Budget Report —Just over 75% of the year's budget has been expended
B. Statistical Report — There was a 5% decrease in circulation and a 13% increase in
visits from last year's numbers
V. Friends of the Library:
No report
VI. Director's Remarks:
The director will be going to Dallas Monday, July 20 to decide on framing options
for the John Chisum painting.
