1. Call meeting to order-Jill Drake 4-15 pm. Role taken. Quorum established.
2. Citizens Forum: none noted.
3. Approval of minutes of October 13, 2015. Motion was made by Missy Starnes and seconded
by Phillip Peeples. The motion carried.
4. Discussion of changing date and time of Main Street board meeting- Jill Drake – tabled and
returned back to discuss. Agreed as most members moved to meet on same Tuesday of the
month however moved time to 4:30 pm motion made by Phillip Peeples and seconded by
Missy Starnes. Motion carried.
5, Craft Beer Festival Idea was discussed considering location possibly Gilbaltar Hotel or
Farmers Market- there are many scheduled all over the state, may be timed with Christmas
Tree Lighting during afternoon. This project will be added to Promotion Committee.
6. Coordinator report: Cheri Bedford :
a. Work plans review before the next meeting –meeting with your committee group
b. Christmas activities please place the schedule on your facebook page they will be listed on
Main Street page
c. Festival of Pumpkin despite the weather and 75% of vendors pulling out was a success-
City had a good weather plan.
d. TDA Nominations Paris Baby won Best Downtown Partner, 107 won Best New
Construction-Green Boutique was nominated for Best Business – Paris Baby won Facebook
Contest. Cheri Bedford was elected to serve on Texas Downtown Board for the next two years.

e. Centennial Items sales going well – Calendars, Ornaments, Hub Hollis Thesis, and Debbie
Fleming's class is working with students on a project
7. Committee Reports –
Organization: Jill Drake- Thank you for volunteers, includes personal Thank You notes- T-
Shirts for volunteers –notes for pumpkin patch workers. Cheri and Jill to speak at Rotary
Meeting on Dec 14th – will present the Centennial Items –Event is planned to recognize the
Business that have been in business for 50 years plus in Paris
b. PDA –Design-Glee Emmite- No report
c. HPC /Economic Restructure- Phillip Peeples- meeting next week
d. Promotions- Missy Starnes- Meeting tonight at 6:15 pm- Mannequin Night went well and
Pumpkin Patch and Festival went well- upcoming item is to work on work plan
e. Chamber Report- Becky Semple-Shop Local Saturday
