1. Call meeting to order -Jill Drake 4:32 pm
2. Role taken. Quorum established.
3. Citizens Forum: none noted.
4. Approval of minutes of November 10, 2015. Motion was made by Phillip Peeples and seconded by
Laurie Redus. The motion carried.
5. Coordinator report: Cheri Bedford
a. Christmas in Fair Park -sale of Centennial Items totaled $600.00 on both days. The items were
presented to the Board.
b. Lamar County Historical Society- Named Debbie Fleming -` History Maker of the Year. The
nominees took a guided Trolley Ride with the Society following the brochure path of the Fire of
1916 .narrated by Marvin Gorley. Presented the Brochure "The Day Pans TX Burned" Jill and
Cheri will do a presentation to the Rotary Club on Monday.
c. Market Square will host a Holiday Artisan Market — Vendors welcome with Handmade items.
d. A bid was made to Host the Texas Main Street Training in Paris we were not selected.
e. January Issue — Main Street Matters — we will be in that issue — watch for it.
f. Handed out a Calendar of Events for December — if you wish to add to it let us know.
g. Vacant property inventory is due December 15a`
h. Cheri presented the proposed changes to The BIG Grant Policy that will be effective January
2016. They proposed changes were approved.
Committee Reports —
a. Organization -Need list of Pumpkin Festival Volunteer so they can be recognized- District
Courtroom or the Lobby of Court House can be used for a recognition photo — plans are for late
March
b. Design- Possible Art Show to tie into the Fire Centennial
C. ER: no report — need to get Vacant Building inventory
d. Promotion: Christmas tree Lighting- -Hot Chocolate & Popcorn sales made $590.00 Cotton
Candy donated $100.00. Sales at Christmas Parade made $290.00 Hot Chocolate Sales- Cotton
