Call meeting to order.
2. Election of Chairperson and Vice - Chairperson
3. Approval of the minutes. (last 2 meetings)
4. Establishment of regular Civil Service Commission meeting dates for year 2016.
Review and discussion of 2015 events by the Civil Service Director.
6. Discussion and possible adoption of changing the following to local civil service rule
143.030 (4) to 3 calendar years from the date of promotion to meet educational
requirements.
Discussion and possible adoption of changing local civil service rule 143.0251 to read that
a psychological examination is at the discretion of administration instead of being required
upon reappointment of police officers.
8. Discussion and possible adoption of adding to local civil service rule 143.0251 that
previous employment does not count towards shift seniority upon reappointment of police
officers.
9. Discussion and possible adoption of adding to local civil service rule 143.0251 that
reappointment/rehire of police officers or firefighters within one year of non -city service
will return with the same seniority pay as when left the city service.
10. Comments or questions by members of the commission.
