SUBJECT: ANNUAL CONCRETE BIDS
DATE: February 16, 2016
BACKGROUND: This is the annual bid for curb /gutter, standard driveway approaches, and
reinforced concrete sidewalks to be used by the Street Division, Water Distribution, Sewer
Maintenance, and Parks Divisions. The bid tabulation sheet is attached for details of the bids.
STATUS OF ISSUE: The City of Paris Public Works Department has received sealed bids for
concrete work and would like to award bid according to lowest bidder.
BUDGET: Monies are budgeted in the Street, Water Distribution, Sewer Maintenance, and
Parks Divisions.
RECOMMENDATION: Award bid to Breshirs Construction LLC as indicated on the attached
bid tabs, in the approximate amount of $152,362.50. These are estimated amounts with no
guarantees.
