SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT TO THE MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD
DATE: February 11, 2016
BACKGROUND: Policies and Procedures for Boards, Commissions, and Committees adopted
by City Council allow for the appointment of a board member when a vacancy occurs.
STATUS OF ISSUE: Main Street Advisory Board Member Harriet Wilson resigned, leaving
one vacancy on the Board. Staff advertised for this vacancy through the city web -site and the
Paris News. City staff has received four applications as follows: Lea Rolen, Randy Hider, Cody
Kelly, and Jess Kammer.
BUDGET: N/A
RECOMMENDATION: Appoint one member to fill the vacancy on the Main Street Advisory
Board.
