SUBJECT: LAKE CROOK PARK IMPROVEMENTS
DATE: April 4, 2016
BACKGROUND: The council appointed a citizens' committee in February to consider the best
manner in which to expend available funds to improve the active parks area located on Lake
Crook. The committee met three times, once at the park itself, on March 8 and 22, and April 5.
STATUS OF ISSUE: The committee developed the attached recommendations, to be presented
by committee chair Ruth Ann Alsobrook.
BUDGET: A total of $110,000 has been donated and is available.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the recommendations of the committee, and /or modify as
necessary.
