04/13/2016 MINUTESREGULAR MEETING MINUTES CITY OF PARIS HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS 107 EAST KAUFMAN PARIS, TEXAS Wednesday, April 13, 2016 Commissioners Present: Ruth Ann Alsobrook- Chair Phillip Peeples Pat Conrad Chris Dux Linda Knox Sarah Barbee Cheri Bedford, HPO Absent: Matt Frierson- Council Liaison Cindy Allcorn- Secretary, Vice Chair Guests: Robert Talley, Code Enforcement officer Chair Alsobrook called the meeting to order at 4: 00 p.m. quorum present 2. Commissioner Peeples made a motion to approve the Minutes of the March 28, 2016 meeting, with the correction of his name misspelled: Seconded by Commissioner Knox, Motion Carried 6 -0 3. Commissioner Alsobrook introduced the items appearing on this consent. Code Enforcement Officer Robert Talley presented the list of the of the following structures to be recommended to the Building and Standards for demolition: a. 640 W. Center b. 823 NW 6rh ST c. 1531 Pine Bluff d. 2810 NE. Loop 286 The following structures did not appear on the agenda, but were emergency call in's and were also presented: e. 905 Lamar Ave f. 1061 W. Shiloh g. 3035 Lamar Ave Commissioner Dux made the motion to recommend all items for demolition as presented. Commissioner Knox seconded, motion carried 6 - 0 4. HPO presented a report to commissioners of administratively approved COA's COA #2016 -011 T- Mobile temporary power relocation on 104 Bonham 5. Commissioner Peeples stated he will give a Main Street report will be given at future meetings. Commissioner Dux made a request to discuss how to reach out to property owners in the historic district and educate them that any modifications they make require a COA. 6. Hearing no more future agenda items, Commissioner Peeples made a motion to adjourn at 4: 58 p.m. by seconded by Commissioner Barbee, Motion carried 6 -0 APPROVED THI,�DAY OFC' i�f 6. _ °
