SUBJECT: AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
DATE: May 17, 2016
BACKGROUND: We are assembling an airport development advisory committee to discuss and
actively work on economic development opportunities at the city's Cox Field.
STATUS OF ISSUE: The committee is to consist of two members from the PEDC board, two
from the Chamber of Commerce board of directors, and three from the city. The three
representatives from the city will include two airport advisory board members and one council
member. The chamber president, city manager, and PEDC director will serve as committee staff.
BUDGET: NA.
RECOMMENDATION: Agree to a council representative on the committee.
