Item No. 10 TO: Mayor & City Council Grayson Path, City Manager FROM: Carla Easton, PE, Engineering & Community Development Director SUBJECT: MORRELL SQUARE ADDITION —FINAL PLAT DATE: June 22, 2020 BACKGROUND: Don Morrell owns 1.44 acres located in the 2800 block of NE Loop 286. He is proposing to build a new auto dealership. The property is currently zoned Commercial (C). STATUS OF ISSUE: The owner has submitted a final plat of the property. Water and sewer utilities are available along Loop 286, and the lot currently has access provided from Loop 286. It appears that the plats conform to the requirements of the subdivision regulations with the following revisions. 1. Add "Block A" to the title 2. Clarify the "BILLBOARD" ownership. If it is separately owned, an access easement and possibly utility easement should be shown on the final plat. The final plat was approved 5-0 by the Planning & Zoning Commission on June 1st. RECOMMENDATION: Approve the final plat with noted revisions.
