Item No. 10 <br />TO: Mayor & City Council <br />Grayson Path, City Manager <br />FROM: Carla Easton, PE, Engineering & Community Development Director <br />SUBJECT: MORRELL SQUARE ADDITION —FINAL PLAT <br />DATE: June 22, 2020 <br />BACKGROUND: Don Morrell owns 1.44 acres located in the 2800 block of NE Loop 286. He <br />is proposing to build a new auto dealership. The property is currently zoned Commercial (C). <br />STATUS OF ISSUE: The owner has submitted a final plat of the property. Water and sewer <br />utilities are available along Loop 286, and the lot currently has access provided from Loop 286. <br />It appears that the plats conform to the requirements of the subdivision regulations with the <br />following revisions. <br />1. Add "Block A" to the title <br />2. Clarify the "BILLBOARD" ownership. If it is separately owned, an access easement <br />and possibly utility easement should be shown on the final plat. <br />The final plat was approved 5-0 by the Planning & Zoning Commission on June 1st. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the final plat with noted revisions. <br />
