FOR PUBLICATION ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 11, 2022 Public Notice Pursuant to Chapter 552 of the Texas Government Code, the public is hereby given notice that the City Council of the City of Paris, Texaswill convene in regularsession on the 24thday of January, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. to receive public comment on redistricting of CityCouncil Districts. After the public hearing, the City Councilwill take up for consideration andto takepossible action regarding one or more alternative plans for the redistricting of City CouncilDistricts. The Council reserves the right to take any and all appropriate actionsregarding the redistricting of the City of Parispolitical boundaries, including the acceptance of new boundaries for the City Council Districts, modification of any boundaries, and/or tabling the pending proposals for later consideration and/or action. The Public is invited to attend and to participate in this meeting. Those wishing to address the Councilshould sign a speakers request form provided for this purpose. Each speaker will be asked to come before the Council,identify themselves, provide their address, and inform the City Councilof the City CouncilDistrictthespeaker currently resideswithin. Comments should be reasonably concise and to the point. Questionswill be answered, but the Councilwill not permit argument or excessive discussion of any particular topic. The hearing will be conducted under rules of judicial decorum. A tape recording of the hearing will be made of this hearing. Your comments will be transcribed and retained as a part of the permanent record of the proceeding.
