There being none, a Motion to approve the consent agenda was <br />made by Council Member Frierson and seconded by Council Member Drake. Motion carried, 7 <br />ayes — 0 nays. <br />5. Approve minutes from the meeting on July 25, 2016. <br />6. Receive reports and /or minutes from the following boards, commissions, and committees: <br />a. Paris Economic Development Corporation (6 -23 -2016 & 6 -30 -2016) <br />b. Paris Public Library Advisory Board (6 -15 -2016) <br />c. Traffic Commission (7 -5 -2016) <br />7. Receive the 2016 tax appraisal roll from the Lamar County Appraisal District. <br />8. Approve the Paris Library Board's request to remove one board member and to appoint <br />one new member. <br />9. Approve the annual contract for chemicals to be used at the Water and Wastewater <br />Treatment Plants. <br />10. Approve RESOLUTION NO. 2016 -026: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING AN <br />INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH NORTH LAMAR INDEPENDENT SCHOOL <br />DISTRICT FOR PROVISION OF SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER SERVICES; <br />MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; <br />AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />11.
