Mr. Watson informed the commission the Paris 4th of July <br />celebration at Noyes Stadium would be held on Sunday July 3rd <br />D. After some discussion on the concert time of the Crepe Myrtle <br />Coronation it was decided that the time for this would change <br />from 8:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. since this event is held at the Weger <br />Auditorium. Mr Watson will secure the Weger Auditorium for this <br />event. <br />E. Paul Denney has agreed to do the sound for the same cost as last <br />year. <br />F. Mr. Bunch will secure the U -haul Truck approximately 3 weeks <br />prior to the season <br />G. Councilman Pickle offered to donate the paper to the band <br />needed for their music. <br />5. New Business <br />a. Discussion on sales of concession at the municipal band concerts, and <br />Cheri Bedford offered to look into what it took to get sponsoring <br />groups so the concessions were available to the public during the <br />concert. These concession stands would be simple items such as <br />popcorn, and soft drinks and water. It was noted that water was a <br />need, and this could only be done with help of outside groups. Due <br />to space & noise constraints, food trucks are not an option at this <br />time. <br />b. Cheri Bedford and Councilman Pickle will get together to create a <br />poster for distribution announcing the coming season. Other ways to <br />inform the public were discussed, such as social media and The Paris <br />news entertainment section listing. <br />c. Dates for the next meeting are tentatively September 15 or22, 2016 <br />and January 19 or26, 2017 depending on availability of the council <br />chambers. Cheri Bedford will check on this. <br />
