Commissioner Dux mentioned the cognoscente of the fact that there are ADA and <br />Fire Codes when encouraging redevelopment and assist with balancing with <br />historic features with new requirements. <br />B. Commissioner Skipper Steely -Styles and Influence Pages 40 — 44 gave a report to <br />the commission referring to the design standards that can be downloaded from the <br />city of Paris website, and also provided handouts with suggested readings. Copies <br />of the handouts are available on request. He also noted that some of the houses <br />that are used in the design standards are not in Paris, but examples of different <br />styles. <br />The agenda listed the replacement of Georges Preston's Attorney awning on 14 -16 <br />Clarksville, which was damaged by wind. It was approved in house, and will be replaced <br />with a smaller profile and a color selected in the approved color pallet for the historic district. <br />Commissioner Steely asked for an update on the Lamar hospital and a house located at 623 <br />6t' ST at the next meeting. <br />Commissioner Steely made the motion to adjourn, motion carried 6 — 0 <br />Chair <br />
