<br />BEGINNING at an iron pin set for corner in the West Boundary Line of

<br />to an iron pin for corner;
<br />THENCE South 61 Deg. 56 Min. East a distance of 1,303.26 feet to an iron
<br />pin for corner;
<br />THENCE South 25 Deg. 06 Sec. East a distance of 800.0 feet to an iron pin
<br />for corner in the West Line of Stillhouse Road;
<br />THENCE Southwesterly with said West Line as follows: South 47 Deg. 40
<br />Min. 30 Sec. West a distance of 118.46 feet; South 39 Deg. 58 Min. 40 Sec. West
<br />a distance of 284.15 feet; South 31 Deg. 32 Min. 20 Sec. West a distance of
<br />113.02 feet to the place of beginning and containing 31.61 acres ofland, more or
<br />less. Being the same property conveyed North Lamar Independent School District
<br />by deed recorded in Volume 714, Page 748, Deed Recprds, Lamar County, Texas,

<br />be, and the same is hereby, annexed to the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, and that boundary limits
<br />of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, extended to include the above-
<br />described territory, and the same shall hereafter be included within the territorial limits of the City
<br />of Paris, and that said land and the future inhabitants thereof shall hereafter be entitled to all of
<br />the rights and privileges of other citizens of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, and shall be bound
<br />by the acts and ordinances of the City of Paris.

<br />Section 2. The above-described territory is hereby zoned Public Lands and Institution
<br />District (PLI) upon annexation as provided for in Zoning Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
<br />Paris, Texas.

<br />Section 3. It is hereby declared to be the intention of the City Council of the City of Paris
<br />that the sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses, and phrases of this ordinance are severable, and
<br />if any phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, or section of this ordinance shall be declared
<br />unconstitutional or invalid by the valid judgment or decree of any court of competent jurisdiction,
<br />such unconstitutionality or invalidity shall not affect any of the remaining phrases, clauses,
<br />sentences, paragraphs and sections of this ordinance, since the same would have been enacted by
<br />the City Council without the incorporation in this ordinance of any unconstitutional or invalid
<br />phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs or sections. It is further hereby declared to be the
<br />intention of the City Council of the City of Paris to exclude any area or areas described in the
<br />description of the property to be annexed which are not within said City's jurisdiction to annex,
<br />and that such area or areas should be carved out of the description by the valid judgment or decree
<br />of any court of competent jurisdiction, in order that such area or areas would not cause this
<br />annexation ordinance to be found to be invalid, voidable, or void.
