M. 425 19th N 2045 W Plum, City of Paris, Block 242, Lot 6 -B & 6 -C Owner: Richard N Lenoir 7170 FM 195 Paris, TX 75462 Present: Christi Lenoir 7170 FM 195 Paris, TX 75462 $418.43 in back taxes owed. Robert Talley spoke with Richard Lenoir and they talked about the City demolishing the property and Mr. Lenoir making payment arrangements with the City. The property is a total burn out and the shed needs to go also. Christi Lenoir told the Committee that she just received the letter about the meeting today and has not had time to talk to Mr. Lenoir. She just asked for time to speak with Richard Lenoir. Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. Motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Wendell Moore to accept Robert Talley's recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 6 -0 H. 658 & 646 NW 4th, City of Paris, Block 90A, Lot 1 & 2 Owner: Ruby Jewell Ladell 658 & 646 NW 4th Paris, TX 75460 $437.28 in back taxes owed. The certified letter for returned undeliverable. Robert Talley stated that this property is a double lot and we are talking about 646 NW 4th. There's deteriorating and missing wood, deterioration of the foundation, the west side of the house is sinking, it's unsecure with broken windows, the roof line is deteriorating, there's a stack of tires at the back of the house, and the roof is swaying and buckling in. Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. Motion was made by Jon McFadden, seconded by Sally McEwin to accept Robert Talley's recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 6 -0 I. 745 W Cherry, City of Paris, Block 52, Lot 5 Owner: Martha Wright 745 W Cherry Paris, TX 75460 $65.75 in back taxes owed. Robert Talley stated that he talked to Mrs. Wright once and then sent the certified mail out and it was signed for but there has been no contact since they received the certified mail. Robert Talley stated that the porch is leaning to the west, the underpinning is buckling, there are holes in the roof, it's unsecure with broken windows, and the shed in the back of the property is in bad shape also. Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish the entire property if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty.
