Motion carried unanimously. 6 -0 <br />G. 1259 NW 16th, City of Paris, Block 234, Lot 8 <br />Owner: Lesley Lee & Mary Kay Roth, 1259 NW 16th, Paris, TX 75460 <br />No back taxes owed <br />No contact has been made with the owners <br />Mr. Talley showed pictures of the front porch deterioration along the fascia, the <br />front door was boarded up by the city about a year ago but looks like vandals have <br />tried to kick it in. The front porch is falling in, there are broken windows, missing <br />and deteriorated wood and the siding is starting to bow out. Inside the house the <br />majority of the floor is missing and it looks like the house has been gutted. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Zac Saffle to accept Robert <br />Talley's recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 6 -0 <br />H. 1207 Cooper St, Fuller - Dohoney Addition, Block H, Lot 2 & 4 <br />Owner: Eugene Bridges, 1102 Franklin, Paris, TX 75460 <br />$4729.47 in back taxes owed <br />Robert Talley stated that he has spoken with Mr. Bridges son and the son asked <br />about the time frame that they would have to work with, he agrees that the house <br />needs to be demolished. He was going to get back in touch with Mr. Talley but by <br />the time of the meeting no contact had been made. Mr. Talley showed pictures <br />of deterioration along the soffit and fascia, missing wood along the porch, a hole <br />in the roof of the porch, roof rafters protruding, broken windows and deterioration <br />and rot along the window frame, the house is unsecure as well. There are a <br />couple of sheds on the property that are dilapidated as well. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Wendell Moore to accept <br />Robert Talley's recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 6 -0 <br />I. 521 NW 4th, City of Paris, Block 81, Lot 4 <br />Owner: Benny McFail & Dinita Dirks, 1360 NE 27th, Paris, TX 75460 <br />$1131.68 in back taxes owed. <br />No contact has been made with the owners. <br />Robert Talley showed pictures of missing and deteriorated siding, a large hole in <br />the roof, rafters falling, missing and deteriorated fascia and soffits, water damage <br />on the inside from the hole in the roof, dilapidated shed on the property as well. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Sally McEwin to accept <br />Robert Talley's recommendation.
