75460 -7663 <br />$830.77 in back taxes owed. <br />Robert Talley stated that he has worked with Mr. Rudd for three years now. The <br />structure is deteriorating, it has missing siding, broken windows, and holes in the <br />ceiling, the back bedroom has wood stacked in it, the blocks are sinking and <br />leaning, and the structures unsecure. <br />Motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Wendell Moore to accept <br />Robert Talley's recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 4 -0 <br />4. Code Enforcement update. <br />(1.) Discussion of total houses demolished. Total 109, left to demo 40ish, and <br />some properties have been pulled off the demo due to the property selling. <br />(2.) 260 S. Main — still in district court. <br />(3) Main Tire — still unoccupied but they have made some repairs. <br />(4) Don Wilson asked if Robert Talley could get with Steve Helm to look at <br />some of the houses on the demo list before demo orders are issued. Robert Talley <br />said he would talk to the Fire Chief and Fire Marshall about this. <br />6. Future agenda items. <br />(1) Next meeting August 18, 2013. <br />(2) Robert Talley asked to condense the list on demos and instead go over <br />Building and Standards procedures for new members. The Commission <br />agreed this would be good. <br />7. Adjournment <br />Motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Wendell Moore to adjourn <br />the meeting at 4:40pm.
