Mr. Talley <br />showed pictures of junk and rubbish on the front porch, missing and deteriorated <br />wood at the back of the house, missing wood at the foundation, steps are starting <br />to bow and sink, the house is starting to lean and the roof is starting to give way <br />and it is only a matter of time before it develops holes. There is missing <br />underpinning and broken windows. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Zac Saffle, seconded by Johnny Norris to follow Robert <br />Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the property in <br />30 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day <br />civil penalty to the property. Motion carried unanimously. 4 -0 <br />F. 624 NW 13th, City of Paris, Block 84, Lot 15 <br />Owner: Paul & Jaqueline Butler, 1202 W Cherry, Paris, TX 75460 <br />$3693.25 in back taxes owed. <br />Mr. Talley has had no contact with the property owners. <br />Mr. Talley showed pictures of high grass and weeds, vegetation is growing into <br />the house, the house is unsecure, the roof is leaking. There is extreme water <br />damage, the ceiling is falling, the sheetrock is pulling loose and there is <br />deterioration along the roof line. The roof at the back of the house has completely <br />collapsed. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Vicky Ballard to follow <br />Robert Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the <br />property in 30 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a <br />$1000 per day civil penalty to the property. Motion carried unanimously. 4 -0 <br />G. 1160 NW 15th, City of Paris, Block 232, Lot 1 -A <br />Owner: Clayton & Eloise Miles, 110 NW 28th, Paris, TX 75460 <br />No back taxes owed. <br />Robert Talley stated that the home owner came in and signed the Right of Entry <br />for the City to demolish this property. <br />Mr. Talley showed pictures where the house is unsecure, there are holes in the <br />roof and it is deteriorating. There is extensive damage to the inside of the house, <br />ceiling tiles are falling and there is water damage. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />
