Owner: Daisy Grays, 2535 701h Ave SW Trlr., Tumwater, WA 98512 <br />No back taxes owed. <br />Robert Talley has had no contact with the owner. <br />Mr. Talley showed pictures of the structure being unsecure, the metal siding is <br />missing, the floor is deteriorated and there are holes in the roof. The building is <br />collapsing and there is vegetation growing into and around the structure. There is <br />also extensive fire damage <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Zac Saffle to follow Robert <br />Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the property in <br />30 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day <br />civil penalty to the property. Motion carried unanimously. 4 -0 <br />L. 338 E Washington St, City of Paris, Block 160, Lot 3 <br />Owner: Tommy Gene & Carlene Moreland, 338 E Washington, Paris, TX 75460 <br />$5286.79 in back taxes owed. <br />Robert Talley has had no contact with the owners but has spoken with the <br />neighbors. Mr. Talley stated that the property was going to be brought before the <br />commission last month but the neighbors stated they had plans to fix it up but <br />they have decided not to proceed. Mr. Talley showed pictures of high grass and <br />weeds, the roof at some point had tarps on it to stop roof leaks but the tarps have <br />deteriorated. There is a hole in the roof and the shingle show signs of <br />deterioration, there is water damage and deterioration along the roof line and <br />missing wood along the bottom of the house, there is also standing water under <br />the house. There is junk and rubbish in the back of the house and the foundation <br />is starting to lean. <br />Motion was made by Zac Saffle, seconded by Johnny Norris to follow Robert <br />Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the property in <br />30 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day <br />civil penalty to the property. Motion carried unanimously. 4 -0 <br />N. 319 SW 7th, City of Paris, Block 119 -B, Lot 3 <br />Owner: Shawn Simon, 319 SW 7th, Paris, TX 75460 <br />No back taxes owed. <br />Robert Talley stated that this property came before the commission last month but <br />Mr. Talley wanted to make sure the owner, who is in the penitentiary received <br />notification. Mr. Talley spoke to the mail room clerk at the prison who stated that <br />Mr. Simon would be receiving the letter. Mr. Talley showed pictures of the <br />front of the house have roofing felt paper instead of siding or brick, there is junk <br />and rubbish around the house, the shingles have blown up in places on the roof <br />and the back of the house is starting to collapse. There is also a shed in the back <br />of the property that is unsecure and has rotting and missing wood. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />
