No back taxes <br />Robert Talley has had no contact on this property. <br />Robert Talley showed pictures of the front door that has been kicked off the <br />frame; the underpinning is starting to come off because the back of the house is <br />starting to sink. There is deterioration of boards and of the foundation. Mr. Talley <br />stated that there are three people staying in the house (squatters) that are starting <br />fires in the house to stay warm, the Paris Police are aware of this and are trying to <br />catch them at the house. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Chris Brown, seconded by Johnny Norris to follow <br />Robert Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the <br />property in 30 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a <br />$1000 per day civil penalty to the property. Kaufman, City Block 118, Lot 2 <br />Owner: Primera Iglesia Bautista El Calvario <br />Robert Talley stated that this property has been pulled by the Historic <br />Preservation Commission. <br />O. 1275 N. E. 10th, Fitzhugh Addition, Block 1, Lot 1 <br />Owner: Billy Wayne & Mona Emma Smith, 1220 Fitzhugh, Paris, TX 75460. <br />Back Taxes - $1245.45 <br />Robert Talley stated that he has spoken with Mr. Smith as well as Donald <br />Blackburn. Mr. Blackburn sold the house to the Smith's through owner <br />financing. Mr. Blackburn agrees that the property needs to be demolished and will <br />sign the Right of Entry and Indemnification. <br />Mr. Talley showed pictures of a large hole in the roof, the foundation is unleveled. <br />There is missing and deteriorated wood along the foundation and the foundation is <br />sinking. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />
