Discussion of and possible action regarding the following structures considered by code <br />inspectors to be in violation of Article III of Chapter 7 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of <br />Paris, Paris, Texas, entitled "Substandard and Dangerous Buildings and Structures," to <br />determine whether such buildings or structures can be rehabilitated and designated on the <br />National Register of Historic Places, as a recorded Texas Historic Landmark, or as historic <br />property as designated by the City Council of the City of Paris. <br />Code Enforcement recommends demolition of the following structures: <br />A. 205 W. Sherman St <br />B. 436 & 440 SW 2nd <br />C. 442 SW 2nd <br />D. 327 SW 4' <br />E. <br />815 Graham St <br />F. <br />845 Graham St <br />G. <br />924 W Houston St <br />H. <br />615 NW 6'a' <br />I. <br />119 W Provine St <br />J. <br />737 NW 1St <br />K. <br />349 NE 3rd <br />L. <br />368 NE 1St <br />M. <br />602 NE 1St <br />Commissioner Cox requested that item 4F, 845 Graham St., be removed from the list of <br />referrals. A motion was made by Commissioner Anderson and seconded by Commissioner <br />Cox to recommend demolition of the structures, with the exception of 845 Graham St., to <br />the Building and Standards Commission. The motion carried 5 -0. <br />5. Future Agenda Item <br />Chair Vaughan requested future agenda items to discuss funding and rehabilitation of <br />ghost signs, and to elect a vice chair. No action was taken. <br />6. Historic Preservation Ordinance discussion <br />Mr. Sleeper explained that the discussion was training purposes only and not action would <br />be taken. The commission and Mr. Sleeper then read and discussed various sections of the <br />ordinance. <br />2 <br />
