� meil <br />71 <br />MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY OF PARIS HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 9, 2013 <br />12:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The Historic Preservation Commission meeting was called to order by Paul Denney, <br />Chairman at 12:00 p.m. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Paul Denney <br />Douglas Cox <br />Nancy Anderson <br />Ben Vaughan <br />David Stewart <br />Britin Bostick <br />Lauri Redus <br />C. Also present; Robert Talley, Code Enforcement Supervisor and Cheri Bedford, <br />Main Street Manager, Historic Preservation Officer, Mary Ann Campbell <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (January 12, 2012) <br />Motion was made by Ben Vaughn seconded by Nancy Anderson to approve the meeting <br />minutes for December 12, 2012. Motion carried 7 -0. <br />3. Consideration of and action on the following Certificate of Appropriateness: <br />A. 4071" Street S. W. — Mary Ann Campbell proposed placing a sign on the North side <br />of her building covering an existing blanked window opening of the building and <br />brought a sample of materials to be used. Commission viewed a sample model sign <br />with size of lettering- 5 inch letters. Paul asked if the sign dimensions would meet the <br />criteria for the sign ordinance. It was determined it would meet the criteria. A motion <br />was made to approve the COA for the sign by Ben Vaughn, seconded by Britin <br />Bostick, Motion carried 7 -0 <br />- --CONSENT AGENDA-- - <br />[Items appearing on this consent agenda may be approved by a single vote of the <br />Commission, with such approval applicable to all items appearing on said agenda. If any <br />Commission member desires to discuss and consider separately any item appearing on <br />the consent agenda, that Commission member may do so by requesting that the item be <br />removed from the consent agenda and considered as a separate item.] <br />4.
