City of Paris, Paris, Texas, entitled "Substandard and Dangerous Buildings and <br />Structures, " to determine whether such buildings or structures can be rehabilitated and <br />designated on the National Register of Historic Places, as a recorded Texas Historic <br />Landmark, or as historic property as designated by the City Council of the City of Paris. <br />Code Enforcement recommendation to demolish structure all of the following structures. <br />A. 748 N.E. 2nd Street <br />B. 528 N.E. 3rd Street <br />C. 433 E. Grove <br />D. 744 N. E. 5th Street <br />E. 1046 N. E. 7th Street <br />F. 711 Williams Street <br />G. 1421 & 1431 N. E. 7th Street <br />H. 236 N. E. 6th Street <br />I. 605 E. Price <br />J. 563 E. Price <br />A clarification about the address of item G was brought up by Ben Vaughn, it was <br />determined the structure to be demolished was clarified by the picture, and before <br />demolition the actual address and property will be worked out by the Lamar County <br />Appraisal District and Code Enforcement and listed in the public notices. <br />Ben Vaughn asked about the property item H, whether just the house or the all structures <br />would be demolished. Robert confirmed the all structures will be removed. <br />Motion was made by Ben Vaughan, seconded by Laurie Redus to send all structures to <br />the Building and Standards Commission, since they cannot be rehabilitated nor do they <br />have significant historical value. Motion carried 7 -0. <br />6. Paul Denney led the discussion on the following items and suggested a research <br />committee be developed in response items 1, 2 and 3. Britin Bostick, Paul Denney, and <br />Nancy Anderson volunteered to serve on the committee. Motions made by Paul Denney <br />to table items 1, 2, and 3 and form the committee to bring back to the Commission with <br />more specific wording on this amendments -Ben Vaughn made the motion, Douglas Cox <br />Second. Motion carried 7 -0 <br />
